BMI

BMI
What is a healthy range?
Medical research recommends a body mass index between 20 and 25 for optimum health. The World Health Organization classifies a BMI of 25 to 30 as overweight and over 30 as obese.

A word of caution

BMI is a rough guide only. It can’t distinguish between fat or muscle so doesn't allow for body type. Therefore, if you are pregnant or have a large amount of muscle mass your BMI result will be less reliable.
